RunAbove - Windows Server 2012 R2

How to make money from it?
You can run Hitleap and jingling on it, 2GB would be enough for this but 1TB bandwidth might be a bit tricky for my second method!

Step One:
I you don't have already an account at RunAbove, check out this thread.
If you already have an account or finished signing-up then please continue to step two.

Step Two:
In this step I'll talk about two methods you can use on RunAbove to generate some income.


The easy setup - average profit - Sandbox M or Sandbox L
Cost price each hour: $0,004 | $ 0.01
VM type recommend: Sandbox L
Why? More RAM for Jingling.
How to:
Download and install Hitleap (Sign-up | Ref | Download), Jingling (TBN thread) and Sandboxie ( Download page | Direct download) on you Windows Server 2012 R2.
Simply run Hitleap.
Create a desktop icon on your desktop or from the start menu, then right click Jingling and select "Run Sandboxed".

The moderate setup - more profit - Steadfast resources S, M or L.
Cost price each hour: $0,014 | $0.028 | $0.056
VM type recommend: Steadfast M (OR maybe Sandbox L!)
Why? You need plenty of bandwidth, RAM and disksize for this setup since we are going to make virtual boxes.
How to:
Download and install Oracle VM VirtualBox (Site | Direct download).
After installation open VirtualBox and follow how to setup a VM running Windows XP.(You can choose others as Windows Server 2003, 2008 and 2012, 7 and 8).
Notice: I'm using Windows Server 2003 since I still have a valid license for it 

Click on 'New'.
 

A screen will appear: fill in a name, make sure that the type is Microsoft Windows and the version Windows XP(Other version will work aswell! You can run Windows Server 2003, 2008 and 2012, Windows 7 and 8)
 

After hitting "Next >" it will ask to choose memory size...
I'm running a 4GB instance, the Steadfast M ($0,028/hour), so it depends on your instane. I would say to leave 512-728MB free on the server itself. For a virtual machine pick around 512MB.
 

Now het "Next >" again and you will be asked somethng about the Hard drive. I recommend to choose "Create a vrtual drive now".
 

Hit "Create" and then you will be asked about the hard drive file type, select VDI (Virtual Disk Image). Hit "Next >".
 

On the next screen you will be asked about storage on physical hard drive, you get the options "Dynamically allocated" or "Fixed size". I recommend "Dynamically allocted'. Hit "Next >".
 

You have either 20,30 or 40GB disk space so using the default of 25GB ins't recommend. Use somthing around ~3-5GB. (For Windows XP! Other versions can take more space!)
 

Download the .iso (Windows XP) from Microsofts' site (Direct download)

Boot the virtual machine on and window will appear, click on the folder and your file explorer will pop-up. Navigate to your downloads and select the .iso you just downloaded.
Hit "Start" and just follow the instalation process.


Repeat the folowing process for each machine you make on VirtualBox!
Open the virtual machine. (Boot it up when needed)
Download and install a VPN service (mostly recommend to use one with unlimited traffic) (I will use CyberGhost (Site |Direct download) Hitleap (Sign-up | Ref | Download), Jingling (TBN thread) and Sandboxie ( Download page | Direct download) on you Windows Server 2012 R2.
Simply run Hitleap.
Create a desktop icon on your desktop or from the start menu, then right click Jingling and select "Run Sandboxed".

Done! Enjoy 


Step Three.
Lay back and see the money generate itself!
Windows may boycot you a bit with windows update but you can disable that, you can find here an answer how to do it on ServerFault.com.
